Talk with Xuman: Thursday, Oct. 20th 6pm at Threshold

Xuman Performance: Saturday, Oct. 22nd 7pm at The Crossing

This October, Project 1808 has partnered with several organizations to bring Senegalese Hip Hop artist and activist Gunman Xuman to Madison, WI for our second PanAfrican Music Session.

This will be a two-part event featuring a talk and reception with traditional West African food on Thursday, Oct. 20th and a performance on Oct. 22nd.

The event will be open to the public. Admission is $10 for community members at $5 for students with a valid student ID. All proceeds from the event will go to benefit Project 1808’s programs in Sierra Leone as well as Jamarek — a Senegalese organization send a shipment of medical supplies to Senegal.

For more information, go to the Project 1808’s Facebook events page or email us at contact@project1808.org.

Admission for the event can be paid online as well as in person. We will also be accepting additional donations to help support programs in both Sierra Leone and Senegal.

See you there!
