In January of this year (2014), Project 1808 Program Director, Linda Vakunta and Public Relations officer, Delphine Vakunta met with theMinister of Youth Affairs, Hon Alimamy Kamara. This meeting was to discuss project 1808, it’s activities in Koinadugu district, successes and constraints.
The team was well received by the minister, who applauded the work Project 1808 is doing in the country’s most deprived district. The minister pledged to work with the organisation to realize its vision, and the country’s goal to educate and equip young people for national development and global competitiveness.
An M.O.U was signed by both the minister and founder of Project 1808, Dr. Alhaji N’jai in February 2014.
